Service Description

In collaboration with the Reflections of Home Arts Festival, we are offering an Edgar Allan Poe-themed class featuring vintage images from his works such as the Tell-Tale Heart, The Raven, and the Black Cat. You can also bring your own art or images approximately 3"x 3". Black & white line art works best. NOTE: Lettering or text will need to be reversed in order to print correctly. We will apply images with a mono-printing technique on plates made of slab clay. Monoprinting is a fun way to transfer underglaze black line drawings on newsprint to damp clay. We will dry and fire the plates and you can pick them up in about 4 weeks. Some previous clay experience would be helpful, such as having taken a class with us in the past. Cancellation Policy

For workshops, clay and materials are prepared in advance, especially for you. To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hrs. prior to your workshop. Full refund or credit if canceled before 24 hrs. If cancellation occurs after 24 hrs. in advance, there will be a cancellation fee of $10. No-shows will not receive a refund or credit. For ongoing classes/courses, missed sessions will not be refunded or credited. We may be able to schedule a make-up time, if available, during the course for which it was paid. Also, you should register online at least 12 hours prior to the start of a class because that is the default cutoff time. Please call or text to check availability if you want to register within 12 hours of the time of the class.
